How to change a protocol in Epic

From Kim Ball:

Click the Epic button at the top left

Then Radiology

Then Study history- once you select it, it will stay in your recent selections and not have to go to the radiology button.

If you get a screen that says "Study History - (New)", then Select UWH RAD study history and run. Otherwise you can ignore this step.

Enter the patient info

This will open the patient’s chart with all of their studies. Find the MRI order that you are looking for.

Highlight the MRI order and then select “update protocol”. This will open the protocol. You can now change the protocol as needed.
